Deborah DuncanGrowing up living abroad and a Unitarian Universalist since 1976, Debbie has been active in many aspects of congregational and community life. She spearheaded the Welcoming Congregation Committee in 1990 in Binghamton, NY and one of her proudest accomplishments is creating the 1997 Interfaith Service for Gay Pride Week, still an annual event, to demonstrate that there are affirming religious homes for the GLBTIQ community.
She served on the boards of the NYS Convention of Universalists from 1996-2000 and Murray Grove Association from 2001-2007. Debbie has educated young and old in personal and spiritual development, cultural competence, science, art, health, life skills, organizational management, parenting education. career has spanned a wide range of public service, currently at the New Jersey Center for Non-Profits.
Allison WoolbertAllison is a gender affirming woman, educator and advocate in the field of gender identity and equality. Transitioning in late 2008, Allison has dealt with family, work, neighbors, shopping, doctors, courts and so much more as she stepped into her authentic, gender affirming self. She is the parent to 5 children, CEO of Phoenix Consultants Group, the Transgender Advocate for the UU-United Nations Office and a recovering conservative Christian.
Allison draws on a rich variety and unusual breadth of experience to offer insight, knowledge and her thoughts on the dynamics of life in the 21st century. As a member of the UU Congregation of he South Jersey Shore, Allison founded Interweave of South Jersey to promote education, equality, and social justice for the LGBT community.
